From Concept to Production
At our Fairfield, Ohio facility, innovation is built into every stage of development. Our culinary center and pilot plant work side by side to bring new products to life with precision and speed.
Concepts are first developed and refined in the culinary center, where recipes are tested and optimized. From there, they move into the pilot plant for trial production, allowing us to validate performance, consistency, and scalability before full manufacturing.
This integrated approach reduces risk, shortens timelines, and ensures every product is fully optimized before it reaches full production.

Family-Led Since 1966
SugarCreek has been family-owned since its founding in 1966 by John G. Richardson. Today, the company continues to be led by the Richardson family, with John Richardson serving as Chairman of the Board.
His son, Michael Richardson, is Chief Executive Officer, and his daughter, Jennifer (Richardson) Hutcheson, serves as Chief Relationship Officer, helping guide the company’s culture, partnerships, and long-term relationships.
Together, they carry forward a legacy built on continuity, trust, and a long-term commitment to customers and employees.
